Leaving the classroom doesn’t mean leaving connection After nearly 10 years in primary, life looks a little different now. Working from home is quieter, calmer and honestly a welcome shift… most of the time. But every now and then, the quiet starts to feel a bit too loud. That’s why I jumped at the chance to visit Picture News HQ. A proper road trip, a coffee, and real-life conversations with the faces I usually only see on screen. It was refreshing, energising and exactly what I didn’t know I needed. Stepping out of the classroom hasn’t stopped me from being part of education. It’s just changed how I connect with it.
